Erica & Chris's Wedding

Erica Lucci and Chris Altman are getting married!

We will have a small, private ceremony on Friday, May 30th, with family and close friends.

Open House
In lieu of a reception, we will be hosting an open house on Saturday, May 31st, at the Lucci's home (map). Feel free to come and go as you please during the afternoon. Guests are welcome too! Our hope for the open house is to spend quality time with each of you.

This will be a casual event. We'll have plenty of food, drinks, and wedding cupcakes! We'll be dressed up a little bit as this is our special day, but we want you to be comfortable so anything goes.

How Chris & Erica Met
We met in chemistry class at Arlington High School. It was 1993 and we were sophomores at the time.

Erica says, "I remember flirting with Chris who sat a few seats behind me. I knew he liked me, but it wasn't until the end of the year that he asked me on a date. My memory is a bit fuzzy, but I remember hanging out at his house a few times. We also went to a piano concert together."

Chris says, "Erica was the cute girl in Chemistry that I really loved flirting with. I finally got the courage to ask her out by the end of the year and we went on a few dates. I don't remember much, but I do have some happy memories of the tree house in my parent's back yard."

We only dated a few weeks at the end of our sophomore year and grew apart during the summer. Our paths crossed occasionally throughout high school and the following year, but it wasn't until 2005 that we became friends again.

In August 2005, we got reacquainted at our ten year high school reunion. There was still chemistry after all those years. Despite the fact that Erica had moved to Phoenix only a month earlier, we started dating. For two years we flew between Phoenix and Arlington to see each other. Finally, in July 2007, we got engaged and Chris moved to Phoenix.

The past nine months have been better than either of us could have imagined. We are thankful for such a strong relationship and look forward to spending the rest of our lives together.
