U2 in Dallas

I went back to Dallas this weekend to go to the U2 concert with Chris. We had the most fantastic weekend. The concert itself was a religious experience. I cried through at least half of it because it was so magical. I don't think I've ever been to such a packed arena before with so much energy. Incredible. I now understand why people follow them all across the world to see them play.

You're probably wondering who Chris is. Chris and I dated briefly in high school (very briefly, like 3 weeks, because I got grounded). We lost touch and got reacquainted at our high school reunion in August. We really like each other as adults so we've started dating (despite the distance). It figures I'd meet someone in Arlington just as soon as I move away. Fate has it in for me like that. I mean, Chris lives less than 10 minutes away from where I was living. How did this not happen before? (Well, truth be told, we did see each other in a bar about three years ago and I blew him off. So I totally blame myself for missing an opportunity.)

The rest of the weekend was spent with friends and family. I had a wonderful time seeing everyone and it even made me a bit sad to be away. I'm glad I'll be back in Arlington in two weeks for Kristen and Chris' wedding!

I just read an interview on bono in rolling stone, he is just the coolest person on the planet. it seemed to me that his favorite song may be "where the streets have no name" I just love all of their songs and would love to see them in concert again.

Oooo, picking a favorite is HARD! I think my favorite at this show was Angel of Harlem. It was my favorite because Bono pulled a guy from the audience and had him play with the band. During the second verse, Bono ad libbed a verse just for the fan on stage. It was AWESOME.

I am so jealous, I love U2 and haven't seen them since zooTv. Which was your favorite song that they performed?
