Title

Do you know what came in the mail yesterday? My title..."Erica The Great." No, not that kind of title. The title to my car! My automobile is officially paid off and I own it. Completely. The most expensive thing I've ever owned in my whole life!

I know it may seem silly and trivial, but for me, this is a marker in my life. It means I have been out of college for 4 years. It means I can finish something I started. It means the next big purchase I make, my father won't have to co-sign with me. It's just another indicator that I'm an adult now.

And today I feel really good about it.

I was thrilled when my car was paid off (and my husband's). It's such a great feeling isn't it?

Congrats!!! My car will be paid off in 9.1 more months... I can't wait to recoup the money I spend on it every month. I've consistantly been paying more than my monthly car payment, so it'll actually be paid off about 6 months ahead of schedule. Hopefully that will look good on my credit report (:

The really nice thing is not having that payment each month. I paid off my 96 Honda in 2000. If you can resist the car marketing, you can get several more years of solid, non-payment driving :)
