As I drove to work this morning, the sky was very ominous. There was one section of clouds that looked like good and evil colliding. One side was very light and the other very dark. The clouds were mixing up together in a huge column. It reminded me of a tornado but I wasn't worried. Wrong season for tornadoes. But I couldn't quit looking at it. If I didn't have to be at work, I would have just stopped and watched the clouds. It was beautiful. As I drove towards the evil side, the rain started. Then before I could blink, the hail came. It's very weird to have pieces of ice (pea to marble-size) coming from the sky in August. Then at lunch today it was over 90 degrees. Only in Texas.

Jason and I noticed the same effect driving around Sunday afternoon. One side was light and peaceful and serene, and the other was dark and cloudy. We were sure we were at the edge of the earth, and if we strayed to far into the darkness we'd fall off.
