I can't believe it's already April 13th. Why aren't my taxes done already? Oh yeah, because I didn't do them. That stinks. Why won't someone do my taxes for me? Oh yeah, because I'm too cheap to pay someone else. Why won't my Dad do them for me? Oh yeah, because I'm an adult now. (Or at least we pretend I am.) Why do I keep complaining about doing my taxes instead of just sitting down and doing them? Hmm, no idea.

hey, if you haven't already committed to an online service, let me recommend h&r block online. I just did ours the other day (I usually do them in February, this year I am a slacker) and the server didn't seem at all sluggish. Good luck!

The accountant I go to seems to base his tax fee on my annual income. When I was in college, he would only charge me $15, last year it was $20, and this year it was $35. He's always charged my sister $50. The refund check is always my great motivation to get my taxes (well, have him do my taxes) early.

i recommend going into business for yourself. then hire a CPA. it's the only way to fly.

The AARP offers their services for free at the downtown library in Arlington. Ragan took advantage of them yesterday...I don't know what days they are there or if you missed your opportunity.

I second the H&R Block online suggestion. I've used them the last three years and it's been relatively pain-free.

I still have to do my taxes :( You are lucky you are finished than getting an extention!
