Snow!

February 14, 2004 - 4:57pm

Happy Birthday, Dad!

Kristen woke me up last night to tell me it was snowing. I was too sleepy to care and rolled back over. Of course, I was completely shocked this morning to see at least three inches of powder all over everything! Now even a couple hours later, it's still coming down! The nice part of it all is the ground is too warm to freeze so Kristen and I are going to go out later to see the rest of town covered in snow.

my parents called me to tell me it was snowing there at 8 AM. i don't mind cold and snow so much - i did live in the mountains for four years. i just figure if it's gonna be cold, it ought to be worthwhile, like for skiing or snowshoeing or sledding or something. dallas just gets cold and they shut down the freeways. so i walked outside and the sun is shining, its 65 on the beach, and i'll probably go for a mountain bike ride in laguna later. i'm sticking with socal. which is good cause most texans don't want my skinny, bush hating, vegetarian ass there anyway. ;-)

Tiger looks very concerned. Did he do ok?

Yeah, Tiger isn't real into snow. After I snapped this picture, he promptly ran back to the porch.
