See, the meek DO get something!

I can't go into specifics right now, but Friday at work I was offered two completely amazing opportunities. You could have knocked me out with a feather. It was such a shock after the disappointment I experienced Thursday. I'm still sitting here surprised at how quickly a situation can change. And, Summer, you're right - something better has come along (in this case it's 2 something betters)! We'll just wait and see how everything unfolds.

As is usual for Friday night, I was so tired that I just stayed home. Tired and fear of the insane rainstorm that was forecasted. It's supposed to be raining like cats and dogs right about now. Luckily it's not doing a thing. (Which is good since Tiger just woke up and won't do his thing in the rain.) So, I think I'll spend the rest of the morning waiting for the predicted flash floods while I finish up painting the dining room.

Once again in my life, I'm reminded how life brings us unexpected things. These things aren't always good but right now, I'm amazing lucky to have so much good. I must be doing something right. Right?
