This is the second package I've received from my father with a name that is not mine. I wonder if he's trying to push my buttons. It's working.

One of the mothers started addressing letters to the daughter whom she raised by the daughter's biological last name (even though she didn't change her name). So mean!
I feel your pain. I get it all the time!!!
OK, I'm sorry. I apologize. I did not intend to push any buttons, and I wasn't trying to make a statement. I wasn't aware of the sensitivity. I simply thought you used both or either. I'll try not to make that mistake again, until I want to make a statement, or push a special button.

Aww, Dad, you're so sweet! I definitely wrote this post with humor in my voice though I recognize it doesn't necessarily come across. Glad to hear you weren't trying to push my buttons. It's really not a big deal, just something to laugh about.
