Phoenix is such an awesome city and there are lots of great events that happen year to year. Desert Code Camp is one of those events. It is a free, one-day event put on by the local Phoenix community to help promote software development. Lorin Thwaits is the camp director and has been working hard on this event every year. It's an awesome day full of geekery and networking. While most of the talks are a geared towards developers, I still go and enjoy learning something new. I always enjoy catching up with good friends too. We're so lucky to have such a great tech community in Phoenix.
* My coworker, Saul, gave 4 (or was it 5?) presentations at DCC so the term "Saulcon" was floating around the office. Totally cracks me up.
