Christmas Carolers

December 23, 2002 - 4:28am

I was sitting at the computer finishing up some email when I heard a bunch of people outside. I assumed the neighbors were having people over (even though they never do) when the doorbell rang. A group of about 15 people were outside our house singing Christmas carols. I hollered at Karen, we stepped outside and sand with them. The next thing I know, they're introducing themselves as our neighbors from down the street and are inviting themselves into our house!!

So they all pile into the front room petting dogs and everyone talking at the same time. I caught only one person's name out of the whole group but everyone was so nice! I dragged Christmas cookies out, explained who all lived here and got invited to the next block party they're having. Then they all thanked us and filed out.

It was the most bizarre thing I've ever experienced in this house.
