Love it all, but my favorite is the new image at the top-- the colors are so rich! Not sure if it's from your backyard or not, but it's really pretty. Also, is it strange that I still read your blog even though I haven't seen you in like 5 years? Yours was the first blog I read regularly, and it's a favorite procrastination tool. Anyway, hope it's not strange... it's just really fun to keep up with your life :)

Abby, I don't think it's weird at all that you still read my blog. In fact, I'm honored that it's interesting enough to you that you keep reading it! Of course, it's extra neat that while we weren't close friends, we did hang out a few times. I'm sure that if we lived closer we'd hang out still today. Glad you like the picture at the top. It was definitely time for a design change. And yes, the picture is of plants in my backyard.

Now, tobyjoe, I can't imagine why you would think I would take your comment the wrong way. I've been to NYC a few times and I feel for you. If you ever get the itch to visit the southwest, you and mihow are welcome in Phoenix. I'll even let you use the grill!

I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but because you own your own house and have a great backyard and I rent a place in brooklyn the size of your kitchen and can't grill, I've decided to make up a large voodoo doll of you to take the place of my Henkels knife block. Love, tobyjoe
