One of the coolest parts about Amazon.com is definitely the reviews. I love hearing other people talk about their experience with a product. It often makes me think about standing in the grocery aisle talking to someone about this salad dressing or that ice cream flavor. Unfortunately, I'm seldom in the grocery store so I don't get that experience anymore. But that's beside the point.
Today on Amazon I was reading about the Irock! 300W Wireless Music Adapter. It allows you to play your iPod (or in my case, Kevin's) over your car stereo. It gets mixed reviews, but for 30 bucks, I might try it for our next roadtrip. The review that really amused me was this:
"Of course, it didn't work, even with the one unused FM station slot in our area. But before I took it back I decided to take it apart to see what made it (not) tick. Turns out that the thing might work if they'd just made the pigtail a little longer, one of the wires in the cable is an antenna -but it's way too short. So I just soldered some 24 guage wire to the circuit board pad where the antenna attaches, fed it out the door of my car, wound it around the car antenna and stuck a piece of electical tape around it. Viola! Works perfectly..."
